On May 16, 2026, the Southeastern Virginia Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. was officially chartered, marking a historic milestone for advocacy, leadership, and service across the region. Eighty accomplished women were inducted as charter members of the Southeastern Virginia Chapter, bringing together leaders from across the region with a shared commitment to advocacy, service, and creating meaningful impact for Black women and girls.

On February 21, 2026, members of the organizing group participated in National Technical Training at Tidewater Community College in Portsmouth, Virginia, in preparation for the chapter’s historic chartering.
